The Punya Patch

Will loves pumpkins! He calls them "punya". He was in heaven running through the maze of pumpkins at Mother Nature's Farm, which is about a mile from our house. I think I'll be taking him there once a week!
Daddy had to stop and put on Will's shoe...all the running knocked it off.
I can carry it myself!
The big ones! Will won't "pose" for pictures...he's too active.
This has to be my favorite because you see how happy he was running on the paths.
Or, is this my favorite. I love his face.
He kept stopping and saying "punya".
I love holding pumpkins.
Another funny face.

Will says pumpkin "punya". And he loves punya! So last night for FHE we went to the Punya Patch. Mother Nature's Farm is about a mile from our house so we picked a few pumpkins for the holidays.

Sedona!!!

Ben and Will at the 360 view.
At the little old Mexican village.
Will loved the fountain.
And the art.
Tired little guy couldn't keep his eyes open
The view from Cathedral Rock.
Will loved the Red Rocks!
We had such a great trip. It was nice to get away for a few days and enjoy cooler weather. Even though Ben beat me at THREE games of Ticket to Ride, I still love the game. We really had a blast.

New Foods and Friends and Fun Games

A new love of olives, especially the tool used to get them from the tray to the mouth.
One of Will's fave toys, the block tower. He now can say blocks and "tow-a".
One of Will's best friends, even though she's a few years older! Will loves Alyssa, and not just because she shares her suckers. He always gives her a big smile at church.
Will loves Utah Peaches...good thing we ordered TWO boxes! He liked eating them whole. His mommy and daddy love them too!
Will got this hat touring the new hospital with daddy and he loves to wear it around the house. He calls it a "at". Here he is playing his favorite game with daddy, throw the ball to daddy at the bottom of the stairs. How I love to see my son smile!
Sorry I had to play catch up. Lately I've been to busy to take time to add to my blog. These pics are a little recap of the past few months. I must say, it is so much fun to watch my son grow and change. He's such a handsome little guy. And he's so good. He has started throwing tantrums and I'm reading a book to learn how to handle those better, but overall, he's wonderful. He's talking up a storm and it's so nice that he can now communicate with me. He says "off" and points to his shoes when he wants his shoes off. He says "mom" in a cute high pitched voice. He loves pumpkins and calls the "punya". He started learning the ABC's at about 18 months and by 19 months he knew the entire alphabet. He amazes me. Everywhere we go he looks for letters and I'm such a proud mom! He loves his new bug jammies but now he thinks bugs are everywhere...in the soup and in his bread. He's such a worm. He loves playing outside and I love to see him smile and laugh. He's a great napper, most of the time....usually from 1 to 4 in the afternoon, and sometimes longer. I get so much done during his nap. I love my little guy!

Water Fun

I think Will's favorite place this summer, besides visiting grandparents and his crib, is the Splash Pad in Chandler. He absolutely loves it!
